SARS filing-season announcement ↗Monthly EMP201 and PAYE, SDL and UIF payments administered by SARS are due by the seventh of the following month. Where that day is a weekend or public holiday, payment moves to the previous working day.
SARS employer guidance ↗The 2026 interim EMP501 closes on the announced date of 31 October. The next annual reconciliation season will be added once its dates are verified.
SARS interim announcement ↗For the return and payment made through eFiling, the deadline is the last working day of the month after the tax period. Manual filing uses the 25th or preceding working day. SARS’s VAT201 guide lists an earlier payment date where payment is outside eFiling, so the planner separates that payment from the electronic return.
SARS VAT201 guide and payment routes ↗For a full tax year, the first IRP6 period ends six months into the year and the second at year-end. An optional top-up has an effective date seven months after a February year-end, or six months after other approved year-ends. Payment dates falling on weekends or public holidays move earlier.
SARS provisional payment rules ↗The ITR14 is due within 12 months after the company’s financial year-end. The planner uses your selected month-end year-end and the preceding working day when needed, following SARS’s calendar guidance. Check your actual eFiling due date and any specific notice.
SARS company return guidance ↗The download includes only the currently displayed dates, with a reminder seven days before each deadline. Import the file into your calendar app. Imports are a snapshot, not a live subscription, and do not update when SARS changes a date.
Holiday coverage includes the published 2026 and 2027 holidays, Sunday observances and the declared 4 November 2026 election holiday.
